We are seeking a dynamic individual to assist the Head of Commercial and Marketing in driving sales forecasts and strategies within the tourism sector.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for industry trends and market patterns, with a passion for engaging B2B clients including tour operators, hotels, Airbnb, and other tourism-related entities, as well as facilitating bookings of Tour Operator Services (TOS).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Commercial and Marketing in developing sales forecasts and strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and market patterns within the tourism sector.
- Engage B2B clients and facilitate bookings of Tour Operator Services (TOS).
- Conduct proactive sales phone calls to both existing and prospective B2B clients.
- Follow an action plan for lead acquisition, conversion, and retention within the B2B sector.
- Regularly report on B2B sales performance to management.
- Manage budget and expenses within established guidelines.
- Maintain an accurate database of key stakeholders within the tourism industry.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales & Marketing, B2B (hospitality and corporate) or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to adapt to fast-changing environments.
- Capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong business work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanour.
- Good negotiation and presentation skills.
- Valid driver's license.
