Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office

 

Reports to: Accounts Manager

Summary of the business: Lux Home is the Mauritian branch of a London based manufacturer of luxurious bespoke furniture including upholstery, cabinetry and metalwork.

Location: Ebene

Employment Type: Full time

Working Hours: 10 am to 6.30 pm

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist the manager in the daily running of the department

  • Liaise with supporting departments for the smooth running of the department

  • Maintain the filing system

  • Process new order enquiries

  • Booking travel arrangements

  • Assist in the preparation of production plan

  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures

  • Update and supply work in progress reports to the workshop manager

  • Procurement

  • Perform other administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the office

Essential and desirable selection criteria the applicant needs to respond to:

Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Ms Office is essential

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Flexible, organized and pro-active

  • ‘Can do’ attitude is a must

  • Basic Autocad Skills

Experience: Experience will be a plus

Education: Degree Holder
