Our team is looking for a Social Media & Digital Marketing Trainee who is passionate about happiness at work. This key individual will work alongside the delivery team and our senior leadership to create and execute both paid and organic social media marketing and communications strategy. And we approach marketing in a collaborative and ethical way where users are the priority and ultimately, letting our products speak for themselves.

The Social Media & Digital Marketing Trainee will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and executing integrated digital campaigns designed to raise CAPFOR’s people solutions and build a vibrant creative community on a global scale.

The ideal candidate has experience in the advertising industry, marketing and brands and is passionate about the quickly evolving digital and social media landscape, with an ability to communicate new trends and practices to colleagues.

As the Social Media & Digital Marketing Trainee, you will actively manage end-to-end digital and social campaigns, including:

  • Create original and high-quality, compelling content to promote the organization’s solutions through our social media channels. Write and post marketing content on our website and social media channels.
  • Manage content development from conception to execution, including major website updates and enhancements, always-on programs and maintenance.
  • Execute daily communications through social media using our brand voice with a focus on our various calls to action, keeping in mind to build awareness of our initiatives
  • Social media marketing across all channels and platforms through content production and campaign management (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube etc) to drive acquisition & conversion
  • Email marketing for all new products, content, partnership related, success stories, and event-based announcements; eventually leading into personalized social media emails.
  • Launch and optimize ads on multiple platforms
  • Execute marketing event initiatives and drive successful event marketing campaigns to generate leads resulting in the growth of the business.
  • Oversee social media content and develop brand awareness and online reputation.
  • Audit our digital and social media presence and make actionable recommendations
  • Measure and analyse social media campaigns to establish ROI; user growth, user profile, user engagement, content reach, leads, response rate, and quality, negative/positive feedback. Analyse available data, produce monthly reports and present findings and recommendations
  • Managing relationships with digital and social partners
  • Cover occasional evening events and sporadic weekend programming

 

Qualifications

  • 6 Months to 1 year of experience in digital and social marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media, public relations or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding written, presentation and verbal communication skills. Ability to make the complex simple without losing key ideas and messages.
  • A keen and continual awareness of the latest trends in digital and social media marketing and eye for innovation to bring fresh ideas into product positioning and marketing campaigns. Can connect business and consumers via digital and social strategies and tactics
  • Expert understanding of digital and social media platforms and established knowledge of the broader marketing landscape
  • Deep knowledge of social media like LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Wide knowledge of digital marketing such as writing, SEO, social media, content management, site analytics, web-based analytics, Google Analytics and tracking campaigns
  • Ability to work effectively, proactively and seamlessly with the team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Exceptional attention to detail while simultaneously managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Passion for learning new skills and pushing yourself beyond your limits and responsibilities
