Sustainability & Training Coordinator

Coordinate the hotel’s sustainability roadmap while designing and delivering people development initiatives that lift service quality and compliance. The role is split approximately 60% Sustainability and 40% Training, ensuring environmental goals and talent capability grow together.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

A. Sustainability & Responsible Business

  • Execute all RB and Sustainability tasks assigned by the Cluster HR Manager.

  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with Green Key standards and audits.

  • Seek and maintain supplier certifications for RB-related purchases (biodegradable products, energy- and water-efficient devices, etc.).

  • Collect monthly and yearly information on energy, water, refrigerant gases (R134, R404, R410), laundry tonnage, linen/towel reuse, and soap collection.

  • Prepare monthly reports on waste, energy, and water consumption; create consolidated waste reports with external waste outsourcers.

  • Calculate monthly and annual carbon footprints.

  • Propose and participate in CSR activities; coordinate colleague volunteer programs.

  • Participate in all environmental events (e.g., Earth Hour, World Environment Day).

  • Assist with design, implementation, and monitoring of Green Key SOPs in collaboration with department heads.

  • Assist Maintenance in preparing monthly RB reports.

  • Create RB presentations, awareness posters, and training slides.

  • Inform the Cluster HRM of any staff complaints related to harassment, discrimination, or inequality at the workplace.

B. Training & Development

  • Establish and monitor on-the-job training across departments; ensure procedures are implemented consistently.

  • Assist in the design, rollout, and monitoring of the Resorts’ annual Training Calendar.

  • Support the Assistant Human Resource Manager in induction programs and YIC! Training.

  • Coordinate recruitment & selection phases where required.

  • Maintain and update training records (attendance sheets, evaluations, certificates).

  • Support e-learning (Typsy, LMS) tracking, reporting, and reminders.

  • Conduct or coordinate refresher sessions for service, safety, and compliance topics.

  • Align training with guest feedback (GSS, audits, mystery shopper results).
