Reservation Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities: • Promote the hotel and provide information to prospective guests, capture sales from incoming calls /email and coordinate details of each reservation • Act as the single point of contact for all aspects of the reservation process and special requests.

 

 Core Responsibilities
  •    Maintaining booking and billing accuracy
  •    Performing database entry, corporate client creation, and reporting.
  •    Providing support to front office team and commitment to teamwork
  •    Contributing to the financial and Revenue strategy,
  •    Being comfortable upselling and maximizing revenue,
  •    Providing administrative support to the Sales, Marketing and Revenue team
  •    Excellent approach to customer service
  •    Being well organized, deadline driven, and can handle the pressure of the clock.
  •    Presenting a positive attitude

Desired Profile

  • HSC or equivalent
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
  • College course work in related field helpful
  • Dazzling telephone and communication skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. 
  • Strong computer skills necessary. IT literacy, with experience of packages such as Excel, Fidelio, MS Word, Knowledge of Opera
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Impressive time management and organisational skills
  • Candidate must have attention to detail, be able to multi-task, must have experience handling customer service issues and be a team player
