THE ROLE

As our global footprint continues to grow, we are looking for a fluent French speaker to join our Client Services team in Grand Baie, servicing our French region institutional client base. You will be the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of clients — including hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, and other cross-border investors — guiding them through the withholding tax reclaim process from start to finish.

This role is ideal for someone coming from a financial services, banking, asset management, or management company background who understands the dynamics of institutional clients and is passionate about delivering exceptional, high-touch service.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of French-speaking institutional clients
  • Manage the end-to-end reclaim documentation process, liaising with clients, custodian banks, tax authorities, and internal teams
  • Request, collect, reconcile, and validate documentation in line with jurisdictional requirements
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive loyalty and retention
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and proactively drive reclaims through to submission
  • Prepare and present regular reports on client reclaims and additional recovery opportunities
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns before they escalate

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Fluent in French and English — written and spoken (essential)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a B2B client-facing role — account management, client relationship management, or client services
  • Experience in a financial services, banking, asset management, or a management company strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with institutional investors, hedge funds, or cross-border investment structures is a significant advantage
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation-heavy processes
  • Proactive problem-solver with a passion for delivering outstanding client service
  • Collaborative team player who is equally comfortable working independently
