Job Overview

 We are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to support our expanding client base. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines.

 Key Responsibilities

 Prepare management accounts from information and documentation received from clients, ensuring that all relevant deadlines are met.

• Prepare financial statements with relevant notes as per FRS 102, ensuring compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
• Maintain full and accurate audit trail by referencing documents in an organised manner for all figures and information disclosed in a set of accounts.
• Prepare accurate and well elaborated working paper files.
• Proper planning to deliver accounts within time budgets and due date.
• Communication with UK office regarding queries amongst others.
• Active adherence to budget, strict deadlines and time management skills.
• Advise line manager of any outstanding issues and provide timely updates regarding accounts in progress.

 Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or currently pursuing ACCA (Level 1 or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Inhouse Training will be provided.
