We’ve partnered with Neilson Beachclubs to enhance activities at The Ravenala Attitude. As a freelance activity instructor, you’ll deliver sessions in cycling, tennis, padel, pickleball, fitness, kids’ club, and watersports—delivering high energy and a consistent guest experience.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your role as an independent Activity Assistant or Entertainer (freelancer), will be to partner with hospitality providers in delivering engaging high quality activity sessions that enhance guest satisfaction and overall resort experience. We are looking for someone who is proactive, who is willing to lean new skills and be part of a vibrant international.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Deliver a diverse range of recreational and activity-based sessions tailored to guest profiles
• Provide exceptional guest engagement and customer service, ensuring memorable experiences
• Continuously expand expertise across multiple activity disciplines to meet evolving client needs
• Advise guests on the safe and effective use of equipment and facilities
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and operational standards
• Support equipment lifecycle management, including maintenance oversight and usage optimization
• Collaborate with resort teams (The Ravenala Attitude x Neilson) to align with brand standards and service expectations
• Offer flexible support across departments based on operational requirements
• Adapt quickly to different resort environments, including multi-location assignments
First Aid Requirements:
• A valid First Aid certificate is a prerequisite for ALL Neilson Active job roles for the duration of your contract.
• If your First Aid has expired, you must identify a course that covers at least 1 full day of training
DESIRABLE QUALITIES:
•At least 2-3 years previous work experience in the hospitality sector
• A minimum of 1 year experience working with children and following safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication skills (English) and interpersonal skills
• A solid understanding and knowledge of 1 or more of the activity sessions mentioned above
• Ability to work under pressure and face paced moving environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Willing and able to work flexible and odd hours
• Ability to deliver fun, engaging, safe and informative tuition.
• Well versed with safety procedures.
• Ability to assist guests with all activity equipment
• An excellent team player
