The Quality Executive is responsible for ensuring that all production and logistics activities comply with established quality, safety, and ISO standards.

 

Job Summary

The Quality Executive is responsible for ensuring that all production and logistics activities comply with established quality, safety, and ISO standards. The role safeguards product quality from raw material intake through production, warehousing, and final delivery. The Quality Executive also supports internal audits, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities

Production Quality Control

  • Monitor and control quality standards throughout the production process in collaboration with the Production Supervisor.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in‑process items, and finished products.
  • Approve products prior to transfer to the next stage or dispatch.
  • Identify quality defects, non‑conformities, and root causes, document findings on audit sheets.
  • Compile quality reports for production and logistics for management review meetings.
  • Prepare and circulate daily/weekly audit reports to the Logistics Supervisor and relevant Managers.

 Logistics Quality Control

  • Establish and monitor operational checklists for lorries, forklifts, and stackers (servicing and permit renewals).
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections across all warehousing locations and report any discrepancies.
  • Perform quality checks on deliveries and document anomalies.
  • Prepare and maintain checklists for chemical transfer operations.
  • Conduct site visits during chemical transfers or deliveries at client locations to ensure safe and compliant operations.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO procedures across logistics and warehousing activities.

 Quality Systems, Audits & Compliance

  • Conduct internal quality audits across the organisation to ensure compliance with internal controls and ISO standards.
  • Support preparation for external audits (ISO certification bodies, customer audits, regulatory inspections).
  • Support the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of green and sustainability initiatives, including pallet and jerrycan recycling.
  • Assist management in continuous improvement activities, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Work in collaboration with the Risk & Compliance Executive to improve any SOP, ISO Procedures and process.

 

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management/ Manufacturing / Production Management
  • 2-4 years of work experience in a similar role within a commercial environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and ISO standards.
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to identify non‑conformities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft products.
  • No allergy to chemicals.
