Maintenance Engineer

Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, improving equipment reliability, and supervising maintenance of key mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. Requires an Electromechanical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineer with 3–7 years of industrial maintenance experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Plan, schedule, and monitor corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime
• Supervise maintenance works carried out on critical equipment such as conveyors, compressors, electrical systems, and automation equipment
• Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective technical solutions in a timely manner
• Support troubleshooting of PLC-controlled systems and automated production equipment
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure maintenance activities align with operational requirements
• Ensure all maintenance works are executed in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
• Participate in root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers when required
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing maintenance processes and reducing operational costs

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 3 to 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Experience working with automated systems, motors, variable speed drives, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Exposure to heavy industry or manufacturing environments will be a strong advantage

Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance principles
• Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
• Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial equipment faults
