The role plays a key part in supporting organisational expansion, new service implementation, and technology investments through structured procurement planning and supplier partnership management.

 

The Supply chain & Contracts Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement function, strategic sourcing initiatives, supply chain operations, international purchasing, capital equipment acquisition (CAPEX) and contracts management to ensure cost optimisation, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted operational support. The role plays a key part in supporting organisational expansion, new service implementation, and technology investments through structured procurement planning and supplier partnership management.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals and budgets.
  • Lead local and international sourcing, including supplier selection, negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and effective service agreements.
  • Monitor market trends and drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations (planning, purchasing, inventory control).
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and track key performance indicators (lead time, turnover, service levels).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align supply with operational needs.
  • Oversee contract lifecycle management and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and build strong, reliable partnerships.
  • Support cost optimisation, risk mitigation, and contingency planning.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare reports on savings, procurement activities, and performance metrics.
  • Lead and mentor team members while driving process improvements and digital adoption.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and organisational initiatives.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Logistics, or related field; CIPS or equivalent is an advantage
  • 5–8 years’ procurement/supply chain experience (healthcare/service industry preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in contracts and vendor performance
  • Strategic thinker with a cost optimisation mindset, strong planning and organisational abilities, risk awareness, and effective communication skills
  • Continuous improvement oriented
