Looking for a Reporting Analyst to consolidate data, support decisions, and develop insightful dashboards.

 

Role Purpose

The Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and optimization of business information systems across multiple departments within the organization. The role ensures the effective collection, consolidation, and analysis of both financial and non-financial performance data to support operational and strategic reporting. The Business Analyst will prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports, compile key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop management and board reporting packs. The role also supports departments in enhancing reporting processes and ensures the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of business information used for decision-making.

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Business & Performance Reporting
  • Prepared and maintained daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management.
  • Consolidated financial and non-financial data from multiple departments.
  • Ensured the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all reports.
  • Supported management with ad-hoc analysis and reporting when required.
2. KPI Tracking and Analysis
  • Compiled and tracked Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the organization.
  • Analyzed trends and variances in performance against targets.
  • Highlighted risks, issues, and opportunities to management.
  • Supported departments in defining and improving KPI measurement and reporting.
3. Management Reporting
  • Prepared monthly management packs including performance summaries, analysis, and key insights.
  • Maintained both financial and non-financial databases for future analysis.
  • Developed clear and concise presentations and dashboards for senior management.
  • Translated complex data into meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making.
4. Board Pack Assistance
  • Prepared and compiled board packs for board and committee meetings.
  • Ensured all reports, financial statements, and supporting documents were received from relevant departments on time.
  • Reviewed documents for completeness and accuracy before circulation to management.
5. Secretarial Administration
  • Served as the primary interface with management companies and external service providers.
  • Safeguarded confidential documents for the group, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintained and updated a tracker of board minutes, resolutions, and agreements.
  • Summarized board and committee minutes and monitored follow-up actions, ensuring timely completion and reporting to management.
  • Supported the preparation and distribution of board and committee documents, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
6. Project and Change Management
  • Supported business transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assisted in planning, coordinating, and implementing projects related to business systems and operational improvements.
  • Facilitated management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and procedures.
  • Supported users in the effective utilization of reporting systems and tools.
Qualifications and Experience Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field
  • Experience working with business information systems and operational processes
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and senior management in data-driven decision-making
Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, dashboards)
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation and report preparation skills
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is an advantage
