Intern to support the team in preparing and updating technical drawings of spaces and layouts within the company’s properties. The intern will have the opportunity to develop and apply their AutoCAD skills while gaining practical experience in space planning and asset management.

 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Assistant to support the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layout plans and technical drawings while assisting in both administrative and on-site project management tasks. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to work under pressure, and effective communication with contractors and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
        •       Prepare and develop layout plans, drawings, and technical documentation.
        •       Produce and modify drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
        •       Assist the Project Manager with project coordination, planning, and follow-up.
        •       Provide administrative support related to project management activities.
        •       Attend site visits and assist with on-site supervision when required.
        •       Liaise with contractors to ensure works are carried out according to plans and specifications.
        •       Communicate and coordinate with clients regarding project progress and requirements.
        •       Assist in reviewing drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
        •       Monitor project timelines and report progress to the Project Manager.
        •       Ensure proper documentation and filing of project-related information.
        •       Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned.

Requirements:
        •       Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural/design software.
        •       Ability to prepare layout plans and technical drawings accurately.
        •       Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
        •       Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
        •       Good communication and interpersonal skills.
        •       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
        •       Willingness to attend site visits and assist with on-site coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:
        •       Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
        •       Previous experience in architectural or construction projects is an advantage.
