Responsible for the operation and handling of daily fund clearing operations to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of clearing operations. Handle clearing for various payment and clearing systems, including but not limited to the local clearing system MACSS.

1.Responsible for the operation and handling of daily fund clearing operations to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of clearing operations.

2.Handle clearing for various payment and clearing systems, including but not limited to the local clearing system MACSS.

3.Responsible for conducting clearing business transactions and reconciliation with the Bank of Mauritius, interbank institutions, and other financial market participants.

4.Monitor clearing account balances to ensure sufficient positions and prevent liquidity risks.

5.Responsible for the daily operation, maintenance of the clearing system, as well as handling and reporting of abnormal situations.

6.Organize and maintain vouchers, account books, and archival materials related to clearing operations.

7.Assist in formulating and improving rules, regulations, and operating procedures related to clearing operations.

Coordinate to complete other work related to clearing.

 1-3 years relevant commercial banking or financial industry experience is preferred.

 Strong sense of responsibility.

Mauritian only for the communication with local Mauritian customers.

Be fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese ability is considered an added asset so as to communicate with Chinese-speaking customers.

Strong Analytical mindset, proficient in MS Office applications
