Role Overview

We are seeking a Social Media & Content Executive to manage the Company’s social media presence and produce engaging, compliant marketing content for a regulated CFD brokerage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, publishing, and managing content across the Company’s social media channels, ensuring that all communications align with the Company’s brand identity and regulatory obligations.

This role requires strong creative ability, excellent written communication skills, and an understanding of digital marketing strategies within the financial services sector.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage the Company’s social media accounts across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and other relevant channels.

  • Plan and execute a structured social media content calendar.

  • Publish content on a regular basis to maintain consistent brand presence.

  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages where appropriate.


Content Creation

  • Develop high-quality content including:

    • social media posts

    • educational trading content

    • market updates

    • promotional graphics

    • short-form videos or reels

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing campaigns and announcements.

  • Ensure all content aligns with the Company’s brand guidelines.


Compliance Awareness

  • Ensure that all marketing communications comply with the requirements applicable to regulated financial services businesses.

  • Avoid misleading or promotional statements that could imply guaranteed profits or investment advice.

  • Work with the compliance team where required to review marketing materials.


Digital Marketing Support

  • Assist with broader marketing initiatives including:

    • online campaigns

    • brand awareness initiatives

    • product launches

    • client engagement strategies.


Performance Monitoring

  • Track and analyse social media performance metrics including:

    • engagement rates

    • audience growth

    • campaign effectiveness.

  • Prepare periodic performance reports for management.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (minimum requirement).

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.

  • Experience creating engaging written and visual content.

  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, or similar design software).

  • Strong written English and communication skills.


Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of financial markets or online trading.

  • Experience working in fintech, financial services, or brokerage environments.

  • Basic understanding of CFDs, forex, or trading platforms.

  • Video editing or short-form content creation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple social media platforms

  • Organisation and planning skills


Responsibilities for Company Social Media Accounts

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • creating original content

  • posting content directly on the Company’s social media accounts

  • managing and maintaining those accounts

  • ensuring consistent brand representation across all platforms.

Additional Notes

Due to the regulated nature of the Company’s business, all marketing content must be accurate, balanced, and compliant with financial services regulations. The candidate must be able to work closely with internal teams to ensure appropriate messaging.
