We are seeking a motivated and organised Talent Development Officer to support the organisation in delivering structure in learning and development initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Learning & Development Support (HRDC & MQA Aligned)

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating HRDC G1–G3 training programs and MQA-accredited courses.
  • Support the preparation of training materials, presentations, and assessments in compliance with HRDC/MQA standards.
  • Maintain accurate participant records, certificates, and learning documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with trainers, HR, and management to ensure learning initiatives align with organisational goals and statutory requirements.

2. Event Support (Training & HR Events)

  • Assist in planning and executing learning-related events, including workshops, conferences, and internal training events.
  • Handle logistics such as venue booking, materials preparation, invitations, and on-site coordination.
  • Support post-event follow-up, including participant feedback collection, certificate issuance, and reporting

3. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure all learning and training activities comply with HRDC G1–G3 guidelines and MQA accreditation standards.
  • Stay updated with HRDC/MQA regulations, policies, and best practices to continuously improve programs.
  • Maintain internal alignment with management and stakeholders to uphold quality and brand standards.

4. Support to the HR department

  • During off-peak periods, this post should support other HRM functions including recruitment, payroll & administration of HR Paperwork.

Qualifications & Profile

  • Education: Diploma or higher qualification in Human Resource Development, Training, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in L&D, training, or event support role, exposure to HRDC/MQA processes is a must.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating multiple learning initiatives.
  • Familiarity with HRDC and MQA frameworks, accreditation, and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and French preferred.
  • Commitment to quality learning delivery and continuous professional development.
  • Meticulous, diligent with a strong can – do attitude
