The Java ELCAdemy is a program that will help young university graduates bridge the gap between University and the Working World. The program has been in place since 2019, with over 70 students trained the ELCA Way and are now senior professionals in their respective domain.

When joining our ELCAdemy, you will be trained on the latest technologies (in Java & Angular) that we use and accompanied throughout your journey by our dedicated coaches and trainers.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • During the ELCAdemy, enhancing your knowledge on Java and Angular and work on an internal application.
  • Develops and maintain web based application - In Time, In Quality
  • Involves in code reviews and training.
  • Delivers highest quality software through unit testing.
  • Adept with the tools, applications, and processes used for software development.
  • Implements solutions as designed in technical documentation specification and coding standards.
  • Creates project documentations and coordinate technical issues.
  • The position involves contributing to code development, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering
  • Must be keen to gain experience in Object-oriented programming specifically on latest version of Java and Spring boot & Angular
  • Has knowledge in programming languages or technologies, especially on Java.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • Must display ability to learn in a short time and work under pressure
