To install, maintain, test and repair plumbing and drainage systems in a safe, compliant and timely manner, ensuring quality workmanship and continuity of operations on projects/sites.

• Installation & Fit-Out

  • Install and connect cold/hot water supply systems, sanitary fittings (WC, basins, urinals, taps), and drainage networks.

  • Measure, cut, thread, bend and join pipes (PPR, PVC, copper, galvanized, HDPE, etc.) using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Install valves, pumps, heaters/boilers (where applicable), water tanks, and accessories as per specifications.

• Maintenance & Repairs

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing installations.

  • Detect leaks, blockages and faults, and carry out repairs efficiently (pipes, joints, fittings, valves, sanitaryware).

  • Clear blocked drains and ensure proper flow and functionality of systems.

• Testing & Commissioning

  • Conduct pressure tests, leak tests and functional checks to ensure systems meet required standards.

  • Support commissioning and handover activities, ensuring installations are complete and operational.

• Drawings, Planning & Execution

  • Read and follow plumbing drawings/layouts and instructions from supervisors/engineers.

  • Plan work sequences to meet deadlines and coordinate with other trades (masonry, electrical, HVAC) to avoid clashes.

• Safety & Compliance

  • Comply with company HSE rules and safe working practices (use of PPE, safe handling of tools and materials).

  • Ensure installations comply with applicable building codes, standards and company procedures.

  • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses and defects promptly.

• Tools, Materials & Housekeeping

  • Ensure proper use and safekeeping of tools and equipment (pipe cutters, welding/fusion tools, threading machine, etc.).

  • Request materials in advance; avoid wastage and ensure correct materials are used.

  • Maintain good housekeeping at work areas and dispose of waste responsibly.
