The Sales Representative will grow the company’s business in key stores, meet sales targets, secure new listings, run in-store promotions, and maintain strong relationships with retail partners.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs for assigned modern trade outlets.

  • Identify sales opportunities and build strong relationships with store managers, category buyers, and department heads.

  • Negotiate prime in-store placements, including gondola ends, checkout counters, and promotional spaces.

  • Ensure planogram compliance, correct shelf allocation, product facing, and pricing integrity across all SKUs.

  • Set up and maintain impactful promotional displays, seasonal features, and dump bins.

  • Conduct regular store visits to monitor stock levels, promotional execution, and competitor activity.

  • Lead in-store promotional activities, brief retail staff, and evaluate post-promotion effectiveness.

  • Implement category management initiatives to optimize shelf layout and assortment based on consumer and store data.

  • Submit daily/weekly reports detailing sales, store visits, issues, and market insights.

  • Gather and report competitor intelligence, consumer trends, and product performance to management.

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with store staff to secure preferred supplier status.

  • Resolve operational or in-store conflicts promptly to ensure smooth business operations.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, traffic laws, and modern trade partner requirements.

  • Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and vehicle upkeep at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: HSC holder
  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
  • Other Skills:
    • Valid Goods Driving License and holder of a Food Handler Certificate.
    • Computer literate
    • Good Communication, Negotiation, Selling and Persuasive skills
    • Proactive and Cooperative with strong service orientation.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Honest and trustworthy
