Responsible for the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of the hotel’s plant rooms and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant room equipment, including boilers, chillers, pumps, generators, water treatment systems, and compressors.

• Conduct routine inspections and record readings for pressure, temperature, and energy consumption.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities promptly.

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.

• Ensure plant rooms are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

• Assist in breakdown repairs and emergency response situations.

• Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and maintenance records.

• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

• Coordinate with engineering supervisors and external contractors when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or plant engineering.

• Previous experience in plant room operations, preferably in a hotel, resort, or industrial environment.

• Basic knowledge of boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and water treatment processes.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
