The Painter is responsible for carrying out all painting and surface finishing works within the hotel, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are maintained to the highest aesthetic and quality standards, in line with the hotel’s brand image.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting, varnishing, polishing, and wall finishing works.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming before painting.

• Carry out touch-ups and repainting in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas as required.

• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders.

• Ensure all painting works are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to guests.

• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.

• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Report any major defects or material requirements to the Engineering Supervisor.

• Coordinate with other departments, particularly Housekeeping, to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation.

• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.

• Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
