The Painter is responsible for carrying out all painting and surface finishing works within the hotel, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are maintained to the highest aesthetic and quality standards, in line with the hotel’s brand image.
Perform interior and exterior painting, varnishing, polishing, and wall finishing works.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming before painting.
Carry out touch-ups and repainting in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas as required.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders.
Ensure all painting works are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to guests.
Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Report any major defects or material requirements to the Engineering Supervisor.
Coordinate with other departments, particularly Housekeeping, to ensure smooth operations.
Proven experience as a Painter, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
