Manage guest reservations, seating, and satisfaction while supervising dining staff and maintaining restaurant operations, supplies, and financial records. Assist with upselling, equipment care, and other tasks as assigned.
Job Description
• Receive and record guests' reservations and assign tables.
• Greet guests at entrance of dining room, restaurant, or lounge and escort them to tables or other
seating areas.
• Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, and attend to complaints.
• Order necessary dining room supplies and equipment.
• Inspect dining and serving areas and equipment.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of food and beverage servers and other serving staff.
• Accept payment from guests for food and beverage.
• Maintain financial statements and records.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
• Take in care of all the furniture and decorations of the restaurants.
• Up selling of any special events.
Qualifications
Qualification:
• Middle or Secondary Education + Additional training or certificates in the relevant field is a
plus.
Experience:
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry on a similar position including training.
• Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.
• Experience working in remote island locations is a plus.
Technical skills:
• Multitasking skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Restaurant experience is a plus.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to provide top notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Fluency in English or another language, written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
