FairStone Ltd, a subsidiary of the Evaco Group, is seeking a committed and hands-on Assistant Site Manager for its construction site located in Cap Malheureux.

Key Responsibilities

As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of construction activities, including:

• Assisting with project planning, scheduling and cost control

• Coordinating site teams, foremen, subcontractors and suppliers

• Monitoring construction progress and ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications and safety regulations

• Supporting procurement of labour, materials and equipment and monitoring site inventory

• Reviewing daily site activities and contributing to regular progress reports

• Anticipating site issues and assisting in resolving operational or technical challenges

• Ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, housekeeping and health & safety on site

• Liaising with internal departments (Engineering, Architecture, Project Management) and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination

• Supporting risk management, compliance with contractual obligations and timely project delivery

Profile Sought

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

• Proven experience of minimum 3 to 5 years in a site-based role within the construction industry

• Strong organisational and coordination skills

• Good understanding of construction methodologies, site safety and quality standards

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site priorities

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Proactive, reliable and solution-oriented
