Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple internal and external systems (e.g., POS, CRM, mobile app, and partner systems).
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reusability.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation logic to ensure high-quality datasets.
• Manage and support relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of the data warehouse (on-premise or cloud-based such as Snowflake).
• Collaborate with analysts and business users to deliver meaningful dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Prepare and maintain data models and semantic layers to support visualization and analytical use cases.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Database Developer, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with SQL and experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience in building and managing ETL pipelines using tools or custom scripts (e.g., Python, SQL, or ETL frameworks).Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
• Familiarity with Cloud Data Warehousing platforms like Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Positive proactive team player with a dynamic personality

• Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hours
