The Electrician Grade II is responsible to install, maintain, identify faults, and repair electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in motor vehicles and related equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• To use Scan tools to detect electrical faults on the vehicles on-board electrical systems (OBD)
• To use able to read & interpret wiring diagrams
• To change ECUs
• To assist the G1 for complex repairs
• To carry out initial diagnosis on automatic transmission control units
• To perform repairing to the air conditioning system of the vehicle
• To perform wiring repairs
• To be able to perform GIII duties
