The Configuration Systems Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Dayforce software solutions. This position provides hands-on Configuration Management, System Administration, Incident Management, and Infrastructure Support, ensuring smooth operations across all Dayforce environments.
You’ll collaborate with Development, Support, Services, Technology teams, and Dayforce clients to deliver high-quality configurations, enable seamless software upgrades, and drive proactive improvements in system stability and efficiency.
What You’ll Get to Do
- Environment Management: Set up, configure, and maintain Dayforce environments across global data centers, ensuring availability, security, and compliance with platform standards.
- Software Deployment & Upgrades: Manage the end-to-end delivery of Dayforce hotfixes, patches, and upgrades, coordinating with Development and Support teams to ensure zero-downtime rollouts.
- Configuration & Access Management: Support hosting configurations (SFTP, access provisioning, automation tool setup) and maintain strict control of environment permissions and data integrity.
- Incident Response: Investigate, analyze, and resolve system issues and configuration incidents within defined SLAs. Prioritize and escalate critical or go-live-impacting incidents following established processes.
- Infrastructure Monitoring & Health: Respond to alerts from monitoring systems and collaborate with Technology teams to maintain infrastructure health — including disk space, patching, backups, and server performance.
- Process Optimization: Identify and recommend improvements to system reliability, automation, and deployment workflows. Drive process efficiency through scripting, tooling, and documentation.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot platform or application-specific issues, share best practices, and contribute to technical knowledge bases.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of configuration changes, architecture designs, and operational procedures. Track time accurately and support project-based deliverables.
Qualifications
Education: Diploma or degree in an IT-related field.
Technical Skills:
- Configuration management and automation tools
- SQL Server, Windows Server, IIS, FTP Server Management, and scripting (PowerShell, Batch)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualization tools (VMware, VCenter)
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational database systems and powershell knowledge

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability

- Detail-oriented with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Education/Experience
- Experience in system administration, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with software deployment, configuration pipelines, and automation
- Prior experience supporting enterprise environments with strict SLAs and change controls

- Shift: Morning, 8:30 AM – 5:30 (local time)
- On-call rotation: Roaster Scheduled
