Daily walk around in processing plants, store, retail shop and outside premises to ensure all quality and hygienic standards are being respected and adhered to.
Verification of daily checklists for operatives to ensure adherence to Food safety management system and ISO 9001: 2015 standards and HACCP.
Inspection of products at various stages of production to ensure they meet consistent standards, which include weighing foods, performing hygiene checks, and checking for correct expiry dates.
Verification of Food transport vehicles to ensure adherence to Food safety management system and Mauritian regulations.
HACCP, Food Safety and Quality standard program maintenance
Conduct weekly GMP audits and safety-focused audits as per Health and Safety guidelines.
Support the Compliance and Sustainability Manager in on-site external audits.
Collaborate with production supervisors and HOD’s on the initiation of corrective action measures for any non-conformity raised in processes.
Assist the Compliance and Sustainability Manager in the Mock Recall and traceability exercise initiated by clients and ensure that all pertinent information requested by clients are sent within given time frame.
