Job Description
 
Our client is looking for a reliable Junior Finance Administrator to join their Mauritius team. You will support daily finance tasks for a mix of international clients, ranging from startups to small businesses. The role involves keeping operations organised, following straightforward finance processes, and adapting to different client needs while learning and growing in the position.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assisting with simple bank reconciliations.
• Entering purchase and sales invoices
• Helping clear small items in suspense accounts.
• Flagging any basic discrepancies to the senior team.
• Providing general support for month-end routines.
• Coordinating with the team locally and internationally when needed.

 
Candidate Profile

• Diploma, Degree in finance/accounting or relevant qualifications.
• Less than a year of experience in a finance or accounting administrative role.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) [not mandatory].
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work within an international, team-oriented environment.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on reliability and accountability.
