Your roles:

As a proactive and detail-oriented Health and Safety Officer, you will play a key role in driving safety initiatives across all our business units and dormitories.

  • Establish and maintain an effective Health, Safety and Environmental management system for the group.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and investigating accidents to ensure compliance and improve safety practices.
  • Write and manage safety reports, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met.
  • Help develop and implement preventive safety measures and health protocols across all business units.
  • Carry out safety and health awareness programs, train staff and promote best practices.
  • Keep track of statutory compliance record and ensure documentation meets legal requirements.
  • Manage dormitories including permits, to ensure safe, healthy and compliant conditions.

 

We are looking for:

  • A Bsc in Health & Safety from a recognized tertiary institution OR a Diploma holder.
  • 1-2 years of experience in similar role with solid understanding of health and safety. Fresh graduates can apply as well.
  • Familiarity with safety and health legislations, and industry standards.
  • Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work odd hours when necessary.
  • Certificate of Character
  • A valid driving license is required; having your own car would be an added advantage.
