ER Agri Limited is looking for a motivated Payroll & Admin Trainee to join our team in the South (L’Escalier) on a one-year contract. This role offers hands-on experience in administrative and payroll operations, with exposure to various business processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Payroll & Administrative Trainee will assist in preparing and updating payroll data.
- Help with verifying employee attendance records and documents.
- Support the team in handling payroll queries from employees.
- Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Assist in the supervision and arrangements for delivery or collections of materials in the company`s store.
- Record and manage store issues entries on Business Central.
- Conduct monthly store inventory checks.
- Handle purchase orders, follow up on VAT invoices, and process goods received.
- Enter fuel transactions, manage client recharges, process auto-generated sales invoices on Business Central, and send them to clients.
- Create and maintain vendor and client records.
- Request quotations from suppliers as needed.
- Assist in Sales Support activities.
- Ensure smooth operation of the weighbridge system and compile required reports.
- Maintain land preparation records, including daily activities and resource usage.
- Conduct verification of internal logs against supplier invoices to facilitate validation by manager.
- Provide accounting and administrative support to other departments and assist in any ad hoc projects assigned from time to time.
- Deputise for other payroll & admin officers during their absence.
- Maintaining confidentiality of employee`s information.
- Create and maintain up-to-date records.
Profile & Experience:
- HSC holder or currently pursuing a diploma/ degree in Administration or related field.
- No prior experience required.
- Comfortable with MS Office tools (Word, Excel).
- Attention to details & quality focused oriented.
- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Organised, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Able to work well in a team and under time constraints
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 16:00 & Saturday 07:00 - 12:00 (During crop season from July to December)
