Our client in the shipping sector is seeking to recruit a motivated and experienced Team Leader to manage and support the Ship Agency team. This role is focused on staff supervision, client communication and vessel operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily activities of the ship agency team.
  • Respond to client, principal, and internal queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Handle escalated issues and ensure proper resolution.
  • Coordinate workload distribution within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards.
Profile:

  • Diploma
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in leadership level in the shipping industry.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Strong people-management and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and shipping/agency systems.
  • Fluent in English.
