Produce accurate technical drawings and detailed manufacturing information for bespoke and commercial joinery projects.
Reporting to the Factory Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate drawings using AutoCAD software and other software related to drawings
- Compile, check and archive drawings, so that joinery drawings can be issued to external parties
- Check printouts of drawings before handing over for approval or production
- Coordinate and check all incoming drawings with original scope for revisions
- Keep a trail of incoming and outgoing documentation on projects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical certificate or diploma in a technical field
- Fully conversant with AutoCAD 2D
- Knowledge of detailing joints, construction & mechanical elements and components
- Conversant with drawings standards and rules of technical and architectural drawings
- Proven experience in detailing shopfitting and joinery items is mandatory
- Ability to take site measurements
