Seeking ACCA-qualified Senior Manager to deliver high-quality financial reporting and lead international accounting teams.
Purpose of Job
The Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day planning, execution, and delivery of client accounting services across multiple jurisdictions. This includes ensuring high-quality financial reporting, compliance with IFRS and statutory standards, effective team leadership, process optimization to maintain high standards of service delivery to clients.
Main Responsibilities and duties
- Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all accounting deliverables are accurate, complete, and submitted within client and audit deadlines.
- Liaise with external auditors and handle audit queries to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Review management accounts, reconciliations, and financial analyses for multiple entities.
- Manage tax-related matters including coordination with tax advisors and timely submission of filings.
- Develop and implement work plans to meet group and client reporting obligations.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and support professional development initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and financial reporting standards across all jurisdictions.
- Identify potential financial and operational risks and implement mitigating measures.
- Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and strong client relationships.
Essential Requirements- Fully qualified ACCA member.
- Minimum of 10-15 years' progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior managerial capacity.
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS and financial reporting.
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing multi-jurisdictional teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
