Drive HR excellence across payroll, compliance, recruitment, and workforce development. Ensure seamless processes across regions, align operations with strategy, and lead with vision to boost efficiency, compliance, and employee engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Compliance

  • Lead and supervise payroll operations across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Oversee payroll calendars, financial reconciliations, and master data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with CSG, PAYE, and other statutory filings.
  • Liaise with external auditors, providing rationale and documentation as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in payroll systems and processes.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Oversee HR data management in SAP HR and ensure consistency across countries and clusters.
  • Lead recruitment and selection processes, ensuring talent acquisition aligns with organizational needs.
  • Design and implement onboarding, induction, and offboarding programs that foster employee engagement.
  • Ensure employment contracts, job descriptions, and employee files are accurate, updated, and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze leave management, ensuring fair and transparent practices.
  • Conduct and oversee exit interviews, providing insights to improve retention strategies.

Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs and oversee development programs for staff, ensuring HRDC reimbursement where applicable.
  • Champion continuous learning and career development initiatives to build organizational capability.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide guidance and support to HR teams and employees across regions.
  • Develop HR policies and operational frameworks that align with governance and ethical standards.
  • Prepare and present HR and operational reports to senior management, offering insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Lead HR digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8–10 years’ experience in HR operations, payroll, and administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems (SAP HR; knowledge of SICORAX is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and digital HR solutions.
