Role Overview The F&B Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth, organised, and pleasant dining experience from guest arrival through seating, while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and professionally upon arrival.

• Escort guests to their tables according to reservations and seating plans.

• Manage reservations, waiting lists, and seating arrangements efficiently.

• Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth table turnover and service flow.

• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the reception and waiting area.

• Provide accurate information about menus, outlets, and dining concepts.

• Handle guest inquiries and special requests politely and professionally.

• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service teams.

• Monitor guest flow and peak hours to avoid overcrowding.

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel standards.

• Support service teams during busy periods when required.

• Follow hotel grooming standards, policies, and professional conduct guidelines.

• Assist with event setups, group reservations, and special occasions.

• Record guest feedback and report concerns to the F&B Manager or Outlet Manager.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.

• Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is an advantage.
