Role Overview The Barman / Barmaid is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining high standards of service

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards.

• Mix and serve basic cocktails and specialty drinks as required.

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the bar area at all times.

• Interact with guests in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner.

• Promote beverages and assist with upselling when appropriate.

• Ensure responsible service of alcohol in compliance with liquor licensing regulations.

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or breakages.

• Assist with bar setup, closing procedures, and daily inventories.

• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

• Maintain proper use and care of bar equipment and glassware.

• Coordinate with service staff and kitchen for smooth operations.

• Follow hotel policies, grooming standards, and professional conduct at all times.

• Support special events, promotions, and themed nights when required.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the F&B Manager or Bar Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in bar service is preferred.

• Knowledge of bar operations in a hotel or hospitality environment is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of beverages and basic cocktail preparation.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
