The Mecom Group is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our finance team as a Costing Clerk.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform efficient and timely costing of imported equipment and spare parts
- Maintain and monitor the foreign creditors subledger
- Ensure that stock items are properly posted in the accounting software
- Closely monitor invoices relating to freight, marine insurance, clearing, customs and local charges
- Monthly declaration of marine insurance to insurers
Qualifications, experience and skills:
- HSC with Accounting at A-level
- Minimum 2 years proven work experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in Sage Evolution will be a definite advantage
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong team spirit
- Ability to handle work pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Solution oriented
