This role is central to ensuringsafe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery, while optimising resources, managing contractors, and strengthening relationships across the sugar industry.

π Key Responsibilities
π Operational Leadership & Field Delivery
- Lead all planter services operations (replanting, land preparation, field maintenance, harvesting,Service Γ la Carte).
- Ensure timely, safe, and high-quality execution across field teams and contractors.
π Resource Planning & Yield Optimisation
- Optimise manpower, equipment, and contractor deployment.
- Support planters in improving productivity and crop yield through effective operational planning.
π€ Contract & Client Management
- Manage planter and cooperative contracts in line with agreed service levels.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with planters and key industry stakeholders.
π¦ Stores, Agrochemicals & Records Control
- Oversee agrochemical stores, consumables, and operational records with strong control and traceability.
π Data, Reporting & Performance Management
- Drive data accuracy, operational reporting, and performance scorecards.
- Use insights to improve efficiency, service quality, and cost control.
πΌ Contractor & Financial Oversight
- Manage contractor performance, costs, and compliance.
- Ensure alignment between operational delivery, invoicing, and budgets.
π¦Ί Health, Safety & Compliance
- Champion safety-first behaviours and ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
π‘ Budgeting & Continuous Improvement
- Manage operational budgets and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
π° Cooperative Payment Follow-up
- Ensure effective follow-up and coordination on cooperative-related payments.
π What Weβre Looking For
- Degree/Diploma inAgriculture, Agronomy, or a related field
- Proven experience inoperations or field-based management, ideally within agriculture or contractor-driven environments
- Strong planning, leadership, and execution capability
- SolidExcel and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A strongsafety and compliance mindset
