AC Technician Duties & Responsibilities: 

He installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs air conditioner. 

He ventilates equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously. 

He performs regular maintenance work on cooling units. 

He diagnoses electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions. 

He installs, replaces, or repairs equipment that has been damaged. 

He makes adjustment and does calibrations of thermostatic controls. 

He installs new air-conditioning systems and equipment. 

He cleans blowers and coils, checks tensions of belts and motors. 

He makes plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance. 

He inspects and does preventive maintenance to the units
