The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of plumbing systems across the estate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend to plumbing emergencies and leaks in and around the common property as well as for owner's Villas.
- Repair or replace faulty plumbing components, such as pipes, toilets, fixtures, main sewer lines, irrigation lines, water meters, and any other areas that have water services.
- Do the portable water meter readings on the Villas on a date that was agreed by management either by email or verbally.
- Do the electricity meter readings on the Villas on a date that was agreed by management either by email or verbally.
- Compile a monthly report on the electricity and water meters for finance monthly.
- Do the pressure-reducing valves check and test monthly.
- Compile a pressure-reducing valve report monthly.
- Maintain, investigate, and revert to the operations manager and front desk on high water consumption.
- To manage any contractors who have been approved by EPS management to do work outside of your work scope, to also sign off on their work once the job has been completed, and you are satisfied, and submit the invoice to finance.
- Plan accordingly to repair the Villas and common ground leaks.
- Repair PRV’s and water pipes in and around all Villas.
- Ensure that cases and quotes are detailed, and correctly set up on the system provided, once the work has been completed, close the case, update the system, and follow up on invoicing and payment.
- Plan and execute plumbing system upgrades or renovations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with water conservation measures.
- Keep abreast of new plumbing technologies and practices.
- Assist with quotes and forecasts on projects for the new financial year.
Requirements
- Proven Experience as a Plumber with a minimum of 5 years’ Experience
- Relevant Qualifications or certificate from Recognised institution in Mauritius
- Good Knowledge of plumbing systems and materials
- Good Team Player with ability to work
- Attention to details
- Team Spirit
- Well Organised and Disciplined
Salary Range: Negotiable depending upon Experience
