The Medical Store Clerk is responsible for managing inventory, stocking supplies, and ensuring the organization and availability of medical materials within the healthcare facility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of medical supplies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.
- Replenish stock as needed, ensuring no stock-outs of critical items.

- Receiving and Stocking:
- Receive and inspect shipments of medical supplies.
- Verify orders against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Organize and store supplies in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and rotation.

- Distribution:
- Fulfill supply requests from medical staff promptly and accurately.
- Prepare and deliver supply orders to various departments within the facility.

- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of received and distributed supplies.
- Assist in preparing reports on inventory levels, usage, and any issues encountered.

- Customer Service:
- Assist medical staff with locating and selecting supplies.
- Address any concerns or issues related to supplies promptly.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper storage and handling of medical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures regarding inventory control and distribution.
