As an Associate Business Consultant, you will support and execute project tasks, working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions in line with international standards

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES              

  • Engage with key users to understand business and requirements through interviews, workshops, and documentation.
  • Analyse and document business processes and prepare clear and structured functional requirement specifications.
  • Contribute to requirement analysis and assist in preparing System Requirement Specifications (SRS), with guidance where necessary.
  • Collaborate in designing and validating use cases, user stories, and process flows to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Work closely with Developers, Testers, and Scrum Masters to ensure accurate translation and implementation of business requirements.
  • Prepare and execute test scenarios. Support and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including documenting results and tracking issues.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and lead or support user training sessions.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of HR processes, especially in areas like recruitment and onboarding.
  • Gain and apply hands-on experience using tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA for tracking and managing requirements and tasks.
  • Write and execute basic SQL queries for reporting, data validation, and business analysis.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, tracking queries, providing updates, and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
  • Work closely and report to Senior Business Consultant/Project Leads/Project Manager/Manager

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree, preferably in the area of ICT.
  • Relevant experience in analysis, design, development of software or business analysis.
  • Minimum 2 years experience

  • Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to learn job requirements and perform effectively in short time.
  • Ability to work under pressure and during odd hours to meet tight deadlines.
