Our client in the distribution sector is seeking to recruit an Accounts and Admin Clerk who will report to the Accountant and Managing Director.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Accounts Payable: Process and verify invoices, purchase orders.
- Accounts Receivable: Process with invoices and follow up with debtors.
- Prepare costing.
- Collaborate with the finance team to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to Sales departments.
Profile:
- Minimum: Higher School Certificate.
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Attention to Detail.
- Good organizational and Communication Skills.
