We are looking for a Risk and Assurance Assistant to join MEDINE GROUP | Support Services (Internal Audit).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Task
- Assist the team in the documentation of policies, procedures, and system description/ process mapping of business processes.
- Assist in performing internal audit assignments in different business units.
- Assist in the follow-up of internal audit report recommendations.
- Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of risk management within the group.
- Work with the team to ensure compliance with all organisation values, policies, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in surprise cash and inventory counts.
- Assist in secretarial and administrative duties.
- Assist in the filing and record-keeping of the department’s reports.
- Draft various letters and/or documents as and when required.
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE:
Qualifications Required:
- Higher School Certificate in Accounting/Finance or non-financial background.
- Willingness to join the Medine ACCA scheme and to undertake a professional recognised qualification.
Key competences (Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, Behaviours):
- Good knowledge of technology and fully conversant with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Dynamic, fast learner and self-starter with a strong sense of delivery.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
