Display of Stock
- Maintains shelves at Client’s place by:
- ensuring that products appear at the appropriate time and in correct quantities.
- ensuring products are arranged as per First-in and First-out system.
- controlling stock levels based on forecasts for seasonal period.
- removing damaged or expired products.
- tidying store shelves.
- providing optimum display of products.
- displaying Company’s products in specified order and with products facing out from shelves to facilitate easy items identifications
Inventory & Stock Control
- Observes stock inventory levels.
- Prompts Sales Team to reorder when stock levels appear low.
- Arranges for return and credit for damaged products.
- Monitors stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions or clear outs, etc.
Planning
- Involves in sales planning activities by:
- Following the merchandise plans as per the predetermined route planning set.
- Working closely with Head of Departments to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize sales.
- Working collaboratively with the Sales Team in forecasting trends and planning stock levels.
- Feeding the Sales team with buying trends or reaction of customers to our products
- Help with achieving the sales plan.
- Removes promotions at end of special promotion period.
Customer Service- Maintains customer relationships with customers by:
- Answering their questions.
- Responding to special requests, like describing product features.
- Ensures that a good image of the Company is being always displayed by dealing courteously with customers and other external sources.
- Reports on any potentials problems or customer complaints to the Sales Team.
Safety/Health/Environment/Quality- Comply with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality procedures.
- Reports incidents, non-conformance, complaints, near misses and dangerous occurrences.
- Shows initiative and proactiveness in improving Safety, Health, Environment and Quality practices.
Perform any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.
Requirements:
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with store layouts, retail trends, and shelf management.
