The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing transportation routes, coordinating fleet operations, and ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of daily planning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize routing plans to ensure cost-effective and efficient transportation.
- Perform transportation planning, scheduling, and dispatching of job cards.
- Assign transport vehicles and drivers based on availability and operational requirements.
- Conduct dynamic planning and adjustment as needed.
- Handle billing reconciliation and ensure planning accuracy.
- Perform administrative tasks related to planning and fleet operations.
- Carry out site inspections and supervision when required.
- Respond promptly to complaints, incidents, and customer queries.
- Manage fleet operations to ensure compliance, safety, and performance.
- Maintain communication with drivers, operations staff, and clients — available on-call for planning matters.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid private car or motorcycle license and own a vehicle.
- Educational Qualification: SC or HSC (candidates with relevant experience and other qualifications will also be considered).
- Fully IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other planning tools.
- Proven experience in planning, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, on a roster basis.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Established network within the transportation industry is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and proactive.
