Job Profile
Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a Sales Consultant for our Automotive Trade Department who will be responsible for meeting with clients to drive automotive spare parts and lubricants sales and knowledge. The latter aims at selling the company's products or services by creating excellent sales pitches and fostering good relationships with clients to maintain future sales.
Role and Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
- Prepare and issue quotations with follow up for approval and receipt of Purchase Orders from customers.
- Raise consignment order and issue consignment contract.
- Perform regular client visit to keep up to date with their needs and requirements.
- Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
- Achieve agreed sales targets.
- Ensure stock is adequate for all distribution channels.
- Ensure follow-up of projects that are being implemented.
- Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Diploma in Sales or Marketing.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude
- Good knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Good product knowledge of automotive spare parts and lubricants.
- Market and industry insight that keeps the pipeline full of potential customers for new business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and French.
- Good problem-solving and negotiating skills for consultative sales approach.
- Time management for effective daily planning and record progress.
- Ability to build network to leverage customer relationships.
- Professionalism and outgoing personality.
- Holder of a valid driving licence.
