Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, in accordance with the SOPs.
Responsibilities:
- Promote customer satisfaction through a high standard of efficiency and courtesy
- Ensure that guest’s orders are taken promptly and correctly and respond to all guest complaints
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, for coffee bar.
- You must perform regular checks of the barista corner for maintenance requirement and inform the Bar Manager of any discrepancy
- Create excellent and consistent espresso and to steam and foam milk with speed and efficiency whilst maintaining a clean and organised work station
- Execute a withdrawal of an unsafe product
- Assist with the stock taking of beverage
- Ensure that the Bar area is clean
- Ensure a minimum loss through breakage
- Stock Control
- Any other cognate duties
Experience & Qualification:
- School Certificate minimum
- NC4 Restaurant & Bar service or Barista Guild Certification Level 2At least 1-2 years of experience.
- At least 1-2 years of experience
- Hands on experience with micros or cash register/ordering
- Active listening and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
