Assist maintenance team

 

Join us as Maintenance Technician, and work together with a passionate and engaged team, to deliver on our customer promise: Shaping Singular Places! 

Main Duties are to assist:

  • Maintains in serviceable conditions systems by executing daily, weekly and monthly checklists as per recommendations, investigating related issues; conducting tests; resolving problems
  • Monitor RTU meter, electrical meter, water meter, gas percentage and check for any anomalies
  • Provide feedback to designated reporting line with respect to examining issues; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements
  • Follow up with contractors from start of job to completion and ensure service level agreements are being respected
  • Follow up on tenants to ensure adherance to lease agreements (i.e. House rules are being respected)
  • Perform Manual repairs when necessary
  • Assist in the set-up of ventilation and other systems
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures and other related tasks as assigned
  • Attend to complaints and ensures that follow up actions are taken to address same within the time stipulated
  • Assist the contractor with health and safety norms to ensure that all works are carried out in the safest manner
  • Perform Manual repairs when necessary (Fix locks, repair broken pipes, fixing taps etc.).

Qualification, skills and experience:

  • National Certificate Level 3 / NTC 3 Electrical with or without NTC 3 Plumbing or equivalent
  • Be fluent in English and French
  • Computer Literate
  • Be organized, dynamic, self-motivated and good team player
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills                                                                               

    Roster system 

    1. Late Duty (Once per week maximum)

    The employee needs to perform a late duty (starts work at 12h30 and finishes at 20h30), during weekdays (Monday to Thursday).

    1. Weekend Duty (Once per month maximum)

    The employee needs to be on duty for any two shifts during the weekend he/she is on duty:

    • Friday late shift (14h00 to 22h00)
    • Saturday early shift (08h30 to 14h00)
    • Saturday late shift (14h00 to 22h00)
    • Sunday shift (08h30 to 15h00)
