The Maintenance Officer supervises and assists in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance works, ensuring timely repairs, monitoring standards, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining safe, well-kept facilities and shops.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and carry out electrical installation, repair, and maintenance works.
Assist in plumbing repairs, fittings, and maintenance as required.
Perform general building maintenance tasks to ensure proper upkeep of facilities and shops.
Monitor and respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, or service providers when necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of the building and shops to identify and address maintenance needs.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, tools, and materials used.
Provide support to management in planning preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained working environment at all times.
Holder of a Technical Certificate in Electrical and/or Mechanical Field (NTC 3, NC 3, NC 5, Applied Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, as per IVTB or equivalent).
Previous proven experience in a related maintenance field (electrical, plumbing, or general building upkeep).
Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to supervise tasks, coordinate with contractors, and carry out hands-on repairs.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
